What are the Parks Department personnel doing each day?

The reason why I ask is simple, Somerset looks absolutely disgusting. Mangrove Bay is totally overgrown with weeds and droppings from the screw pines.

Long Bay playground looks totally neglected and immersed in tall grass and weeds. East Shore Road, Long Bay Lane, Cambridge Road and many others, have cane grass growing out of the walls and invasive weeds everywhere.

What are we paying taxes for? How much are we spending for this total neglect? Why are we allowing our island to deteriorate? What are the personnel responsible for maintaining our island doing with their time?

Someone or some organisation needs to be held to account. We Bermudians and our visitors deserve better.

If we do not get better, then we should seriously look at the privatisation of this work.

Surely we will benefit, as we would have a cleaner island at a lesser cost! Both of which are sorely needed at this time.

FED UP PAYING TAXES FOR LITTLE RETURN
