Dear Sir,

The events in Texas and Louisiana are catastrophic for the people in the affected areas.

When one makes the comparison with what is happening in India, Bangladesh and Nepal, which have been affected by the monsoons, with already 1,400 people killed and 41 million persons displaced from their homes, this catastrophe in Asia is far greater than what is happening in the United States.

No mention of this has been made in the US media. My information was garnered from BBC News, which gives far better coverage of world news than the US networks.

I guess Donald Trump’s “USA” is all they care about.
