A case of haste and privilege

You have been spotted: the offending vehicle parked in a disabled bay (Photograph supplied)

Dear Sir,

I hope the driver of GP127 has a great explanation for parking in the handicap spot outside of the Continental Building (Ministry of Health headquarters) at about 5.30pm on Thursday, when displaying neither a PC licence plate nor a disabled parking permit.

As the car had a Hamilton medical clinic parking decal, presumably the user is in the healthcare field and should know the rules of using disabled parking spaces.

Shame on them if they were ignoring the rules simply for personal convenience.
