Web hosting team move into co-working space

Web development and graphic design enterprise Advanced Services have moved in to the Connectech co-working space in Hamilton.

George Botelho and his wife Ritu formed Advanced Services in 2008 and have been operating from a home office until now.

The arrival of their second child and the need to be centrally located led them to look for a new workspace.

The couple provide web development and hosting, graphic design and online marketing services. Their search for a new office location brought them to Cedar House, on Cedar Avenue, where Connectech has 4,500 sq ft of shared workspaces, including meeting and training rooms.

“Connectech was an easy choice. Our model is offering professional services at exceptional rates and exceeding our clients’ expectations. The reason we wanted to work from our home is we didn’t want to pass on that expense to our clients,” said Mr Botelho.

Advanced Services currently hosts more than 350 websites and 500 e-mail accounts.

Coral Wells, founder of Connectech, said: “It’s great that George has joined us here at Connectech. Advanced Services is a reputable firm and perfectly complements our small but growing community.”

Connectech was launched last year, and plans to add 2,000 sq ft of space this year.
