After more than 30 years in business a local optometrists M. Keyes & Co Ltd, located in Washington Mall, on Church Street, is to close at the end of the month.

Michael Keyes, owner and optometrist, said the reason for the closure is retirement.

“After being in business this long we have decided to retire. Myself and Jeremy Durrell, dispensing optician at the practice, have worked together the whole time — since the beginning,” he said.
