Hotel, Lili offer tea-and-scent experience
Hamilton Princess & Beach Club have partnered with perfumery Lili Bermuda to deliver a new afternoon tea experience.
The signature afternoon tea at the hotel, popular with visitors and locals alike, has undergone a seasonal update with a scented twist.
Guests will be offered a selection of seven tea and perfume combinations, which have been carefully paired together and accompanied by complementary sandwich and pastry offerings.
Crown & Anchor servers have undergone training from Lili Bermuda perfumer, Isabelle Ramsay-Brackstone to learn about the notes in both the perfumes and the accompanying teas and how they complement or contrast one another.
They will be on hand to make suggestions about which combinations might best suit guests and can provide perfume samples to help make their decision.
Among the classic tea offerings are new additions, Hibiscus Island Iced Tea (paired with Lili Bermuda’s Calypso fragrance) and Princess Diana’s Pink Iced Tea (paired with Lili Bermuda’s Pink fragrance), marking the first time that iced tea has been offered as part of the afternoon tea menu at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.
Jan-Peer Lehfeldt, Director of Food and Beverage at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Lili Bermuda on this creative new take on our afternoon tea. We believe that this is a uniquely Bermudian experience and we look forward to sharing it with our guests and the public.”
Isabelle Ramsay-Brackstone, perfumer at Lili Bermuda, said: “We are honoured to be working with Hamilton Princess & Beach Club to deliver this multi-sensorial experience for visitors and Bermudians. Many of our fondest souvenirs are linked to scent, so we believe that the new afternoon tea has all the makings to create treasured lifelong memories.”
• Afternoon tea is $55 a person, or $75 with champagne. Reservations can be made by e-mailing email@example.com or calling 298-2028 between 8:30am and 9pm, although reservations are not required
