The public can learn more about autism spectrum disorder during a lecture this month at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

The talk, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Other Commonly Occurring Conditions, will be presented by doctors Gagan Joshi and Varuna Tuli, who will discuss how ASD can affect behaviour patterns and the development of social and communication skills.

They will consider the interaction of ASD with other conditions, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and mood disorders.

Hosted by Bermuda Autism Support & Education and the Bermuda Hospitals Board, the free lecture will take place on Thursday, June 30, from 7pm.
