Police are asking the public for their help investigating an incident that left a teenager injured.

According to a police spokesman, officers responded to a reported disturbance in the Berkeley Road/Mount Hill area of Pembroke at around 3.15pm yesterday.

“Details are still emerging, but the incident apparently involved some young people and adults,” the spokesman said.

“A 14-year-old Pembroke male injured in the commotion was treated at the scene by attending police officers and EMTs before being transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where the teen was medically assessed and discharged later that same day.”

Anyone with information about the incident, particularly anyone with video footage of the altercation, is urged to contact police at 295-0011.
