A male motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Devonshire last night.

The victim’s bike collided with a car travelling the opposite direction on Middle Road, Devonshire, near the junction with Chaingate Hill, shortly before 9pm, according to police.

He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The male driver of the car was not injured.

At about 10.15pm, police remained at the scene.
