Boy critical after motocross crash

A youngster injured yesterday in a motocross accident was in critical condition this morning at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, according to police.

The 8-year-old boy struck a wall at around 2.25pm while riding his bike on the field at West Pembroke Primary School.

Inquiries continue, and any witnesses are asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.
