Injured boy in stable condition
The condition of an eight-year-old boy injured in a motocross cycle crash over the weekend has improved, police say.
The child was injured when his bike struck a wall on the grounds of West Pembroke Primary School shortly before 2.30pm on Sunday.
In a statement issued yesterday afternoon, police said the boy was in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Police reported that he was in critical condition yesterday.
The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 247-1744.
