Cannabis seized from Smith’s Island

Several marijuana plants were seized from a St George’s island earlier this week, police have confirmed.

The mature plants were located on Smith’s Island on Wednesday.

A dollar figure was not attached to the seizure by police.

“At this time, no one has been arrested in connection with the matter and inquiries are under way,” police said.
