Four teenagers were arrested early on Saturday after reports of “suspicious activity” in Southampton.

According to a police spokesman, at around 12.15am officers attended the Eastdale Lane area and, while there, reported hearing “a sound similar to a single shot being discharged from a firearm” in the area.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or vehicles in the South Road, Eastdale Lane Southampton area is urged to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.
