Premier David Burt yesterday expressed his condolences to the family of late party stalwart Deborah Tannock.

Mr Burt described Mrs Tannock, the wife of former senator Raymond Tannock, as an important member of the party’s fundraising committee.

“Mrs Tannock was an active and faithful member of the party, whose contributions were immeasurable and we are thankful for the time she spent with us,” he said.

“As a member of the fundraising committee, Mrs Tannock put much of her energy into supporting the party and for that we are grateful.

“The Tannock’s loss is felt by us all in the PLP and we hope they are comforted by warm memories of her and the knowledge that she contributed so much to Bermuda.”
