Crash victim remains in critical condition

A motorcyclist injured in a crash in Hamilton Parish on Tuesday remains in hospital in critical condition.

The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old Smith’s man, was injured after an unmarked police car and a bike collided at the junction of North Shore Road and My Lord’s Bay Road in Hamilton Parish at around 2.30pm.

Police said at last check earlier this morning the man remained in “critical but stable condition” in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s intensive care unit.

A spokesman added: “The investigation into this matter continues, with an appeal for any witnesses that have not already come forward to do so at the earliest opportunity.”
