The Bermuda Union of Teachers is inviting all schools, ministry and department of education staff and the public to take part in a national grub day.

The fundraiser, where participants don’t have to wear uniforms, aims to help people affected by the hurricanes in the Caribbean and will take place on Friday.

The BUT stated: “We are asking school staff and students to donate generously to this worthy cause

“The sum total will be used to ease the burden and devastation of students and their families.

“We thank you in advance for a positive response.”
