The Botanical Gardens will be subject to traffic restrictions this weekend to accommodate the PartnerRe 5K Run and Walk.

On Saturday, race number will be available for collection at the Jack King Building between 8am and 11am.

Traffic and parking around the building will be controlled by Department of Parks staff and volunteers.

The run and walk will be held on Sunday, with the Botanical Gardens closed to all vehicular traffic between about 7.45am and noon — with the exception of Parks and emergency vehicles.

The closure of the grounds will make way for the Junior Race which takes place within the grounds of Botanical Gardens, as well as the main event which starts and finishes at Camden on the east side of the grounds.

There will be staff and volunteers on duty to direct pedestrians and to respond to any queries.
