The Commissioner’s Vision Awards, a popular fixture of Police Week, saw 125 students saluted last night at CedarBridge Academy.

Michael DeSilva, the Commissioner of Police, said that the youngsters, chosen from across the island’s school system, represented “the best of Bermuda”.

He added: “The future of Bermuda looks extremely bright.”

Held in the Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts, the awards highlighted students who exemplified the seven core values of the Bermuda Police Service: professionalism, integrity, respect, accountability, dedication, courage and unity.

Keynote speaker was Sergeant Kenten Trott. Aspen Re was also a proud sponsor, along with Dunkley’s.
