Women escaped injury in car crash
Police have issued another appeal for witnesses to a crash in Flatts Village on Sunday.
Two women were trapped inside a car and had to be extracted by firefighters, after it collided with a car coming the opposite way on North Shore Road at about 7.45pm.
Neither of the women — the driver, a 57-year-old Warwick woman, and the front-seat passenger, a 37-year-old Pembroke woman — were seriously injured, according to police.
The 30-year-old Sandys woman driving the other vehicle also escaped injury, but all three women were taken to the hospital for medical assessment.
Witnesses should call police on 295-0011.
