Toys and food items were collected yesterday to help those less fortunate this holiday season.

The “Fill the Truck” food drive was a collaborative effort between the Salvation Army, Inter-Island Communications and the Bermuda Hospitals Board.

Food items and toys were loaded into the Salvation Army truck parked outside the Bermuda Industrial Building.

The items will be used to support the Salvation Army’s Christmas hamper drive.
