The coming Christmas holiday will have an effect on trash collection over the next two weeks.

According to the Department of Waste Management, trash in the West End is set to be collected on Wednesday, December 27, and Thursday, December 28.

Meanwhile in the East End, trash will be collected on Friday, December 29 and Saturday, December 30.

Recycling will meanwhile be collected this Thursday in the West End and this Friday in the East End.

After the holiday period, recycling will be collected on January 4 in the West End and January 5 in the East End.
