A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish, last night.

The 31-year-old Warwick man hit a wall as he overtook traffic near the bus stop opposite Francis Patton Primary School, at about 8.25pm.

He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where his injuries were described as serious.

Traffic diversions were in place as police processed the scene.
