Two men injured in a fight were this morning taken to hospital.

A police spokesman said: “Details are unclear but it appears that an altercation between two males took place.”

The incident happened on South Road in the Paget/Warwick area at around 7.15am.

The spokesman added that a 36-year-old man suffered cuts to his face, arm and neck, while a 37-year-old man suffered a head injury.

Both men are helping with the investigation and police have appealed for witnesses.
