Man arrested after alleged robbery
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged robbery in St Georgeís.
A man is said to have been robbed as he walked in Kent Road near the Unfinished Church.
A police spokesman said the victim was walking along Kent Street near the landmark building when a motorcycle rider pulled up and demanded money.
The man handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber drove away.
The robber was said to been on a dark-coloured motorcycle.
The incident is alleged to have happened last Friday around 5.10pm.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
