A float-building workshop for the Bermuda Day parade is to be held this weekend.

Christopher Naylor, a float expert from Sandys Middle School, will demonstrate how to build and decorate a traditional float.

Members of the public are also invited to register their group, team or organisation for the Bermuda Day Parade.

Representatives from the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs will be at the event to answer questions.

The class will be held on Saturday at the farmer’s market in the Jack King Building at the Bermuda Botanical Gardens between 8am and 1pm.
