Clarien Bank donation to charities

Clarien Bank today donated $91,000 to nine Bermuda charities as part of its annual giving programme.

The donations were made through The Clarien Foundation, the bank’s charitable trust.

Michael DeCouto, Clarien Bank’s chief digital and marketing officer, made presentations to the following charities:

• Bermuda Equestrian Federation: $2,500

• Bermuda Cancer and Health: $10,000

• BSmart Foundation: $10,000

• Crime Stoppers: $5,000

• Eliza DoLittle Society: $5,000

• Knowledge Quest: $20,000

• Family Centre: $30,000

• WindReach Bermuda: $6,000

• Young Men’s Social Club: $2,500

Mr DeCouto said: “Clarien has a long legacy of community involvement and we are proud to once again make donations to these charities who contribute so much to our society.

“The Clarien Foundation is committed to supporting Bermudian charities with the aim of making substantial improvements across youth development, education, health and human services. We hope that our contributions will assist these organisations in their valuable work.”
