Tonight’s American Airlines flight from Miami to Bermuda has been delayed until tomorrow morning.

The airline’s website said flight 308, due to arrive tonight at 9.18pm, will now take off at 7.30am tomorrow and land in Bermuda at 11.09am.

Meanwhile, tomorrow’s AA flight from Bermuda to Miami has been pushed back by about three hours.

Flight 1325, due to depart at 8.50am, will now leave at 11.45am and arrive in Miami at 1.50pm.

It came after a severe weather watch was issued for late this afternoon through this evening.

The Bermuda Weather Service forecast strong winds with gusts nearing storm force as a cold front brings showers, possible squalls and isolated thunderstorms.

The front is expected to pass before dawn tomorrow with high pressure building into the afternoon through Friday.

A thunderstorm advisory and small craft warning are also in effect.
