Police, city officials discuss public safety

Police issued a reminder to the public today that the service meets regularly with the Corporation of Hamilton to discuss safety.

The notice came after bouts of antisocial behaviour in and around the city, with some arrests and court appearances.

The last meeting was held on Wednesday, a police spokesman said, to address “key concerns as it relates to policing in and around the City of Hamilton”.

Illegal activity or antisocial activity around Hamilton can be reported to the central community action team at 295-0011.
