A brush fire was reported this afternoon at Cedar Hill in Warwick.

Residents spotted the flames in undergrowth at about 4.30pm by St Mary’s Road, close to the junction with Hillview Road.

According to the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service, a truck with four personnel attended from Port Royal Station.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, which was confined to an area of bushes.

A spokesman said that inquiries were being made into the cause of the fire.
