Bermuda life celebrated in Mirrors art

Awardees at the second annual art competition for the Mirrors Programme (Photograph supplied)

Prizes were issued this week by the Mirrors Programme for its second annual art and digital competition, hosted by the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art.

The theme was Bermuda’s way of life, its cultural symbols, neighbourhoods and people, with more than 100 pieces displayed from July 6 to August 6, a spokeswoman said.

Lovitta Foggo was on hand as Acting Minister of Social Development and Sports to congratulate the winners.

“Continue to communicate your vision through art,” Ms Foggo told them.

“We look forward to your participation in future competitions.

“I urge you, as you move through your lives, to continue to explore what’s possible for yourself and our community.”
