Girl, 14, now missing for a week

Police have again appealed to the public for help to locate a teenaged girl missing for a week. Destiny Winters left the Brangman Home for girls in Smith’s last Friday. Police said the 14-year-old CedarBridge Academy pupil had been spotted with an unknown male in the Flatts Village area at about noon on Tuesday. Destiny is described as brown complexioned, about 5ft 6in, weighing 130lbs and having short, curly hair dyed black.She was last seen wearing a black rain jacket, shorts and black Nike sneakers. Police said Destiny is known to frequent locations in Pembroke including Fentons Drive, Parsons Road, St Augustine Hill, Middletown, One Way Deepdale and The Glebe Road.Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 295-0011 or the Brangman Home on 292-3699.
