Wet weather forecast for this weekend has caused the City of Hamilton to push back plans to repave a section of North Street. The municipality had previously announced that it would begin to repave North Street between Dutton Avenue and Angle Street tomorrow.A spokeswoman for the City said: “The two-day weekend road closures in the affected area, due to begin this weekend, have been delayed until next Saturday, February 8, with closures expected for three consecutive weekends. “The work to be carried out is weather dependent and the City apologises for any inconvenience caused by these necessary upgrades.”Signs and barriers to divert traffic will be put in place next weekend, and motorists are advised to take alternate routes if possible.
