Residents have been invited to join a virtual round table talk hosted by the Progressive Labour Party’s Women’s Caucus.

Panel members will discuss the “new normal in the face of Covid-19”.

Topics are expected to include domestic violence and striking a balance between work and home life.

Laurie Shiell, the Centre Against Abuse executive director, Tina Laws, the founder of counselling and coaching company Under Konstruction, and Elaine Butterfield, the executive director of the Women’s Resource Centre, will be among the presenters.

They will be joined by Tinee Furbert, a PLP MP, and Selena Fields, of the party’s women’s caucus.

A PLP spokeswoman said: “This conversation will be moderated by Maxanne Caines and promises to be a dynamic meeting of the minds.”

Members of the public can watch live by visiting the PLP Facebook page on Sunday, May 24 at 4.30pm.
