The Premier offered thanks to members of the Muslim community today as they marked the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

David Burt said: “Bermuda is a country of diversity … diversity which enriches our culture, and our community.

“I join Bermuda in thanking our Muslim community for the positive contribution that they continue to make in Bermuda.

“As you mark the end of Ramadan, on behalf of the Bermuda Government, the people of Bermuda, and my family, I wish everyone a blessed and happy Eid al Fitr.

“Eid Mubarak to you and your families.”
