Opposition readies Reply to Throne Speech

The Opposition will have its say this morning when legislators return to the House of Assembly, as the Progressive Labour Party delivers its Reply to the Throne Speech.

The response to last week’s speech at the convening of the legislature is to be the first order of business for David Burt, freshly elected as Leader of the Opposition. It will be followed by the Throne Speech debate.

No further matters are scheduled for discussion, although, with a General Election on the horizon and intrigue in the Opposition ranks still fresh in MPs’ minds, the motion to adjourn offers a chance to clear the air.
