PLP suspends campaign for Crockwell funeral
The Progressive Labour Party will be suspending its campaign today out of respect for the funeral of Shawn Crockwell.
The service for the 47-year-old independent MP, who was found dead at his home in Hamilton Parish on Saturday, June 10, will take place at 4pm at Southampton Seventh-day Adventist Church on Middle Road.
In a statement, the PLP said it wishes the Crockwell family the “peace which surpasses all understanding” as they lay their beloved son, father and brother to rest.
Instead of flowers, donations are requested for Pride Bermuda. Donations can be made online at www.pridebermuda.bm.
A memorial service to Mr Crockwell can be seen this evening at www.southamptonsdachurch.org/index.html#Shawn
