Qatar Re recruits trio from Zurich Insurance
Bermudian-headquartered Qatar Re has strengthened its Dubai team with three appointments.
All three are former employees of the Zurich Insurance Group.
Manik Kak joined the company from Zurich Insurance Company, in Dubai, where he was chief underwriting officer. He has been appointed senior executive officer, and succeeds Nabih Massaad who will transfer to Qatar Re’s Zurich branch.
Tejal Bartlett has been appointed regional head of energy. She joined the company from Zurich Global Corporate Middle East where she held the position of head of global energy and expert underwriter for onshore energy.
Meanwhile, Manik Sethi has been appointed regional head of marine. He was previously underwriting manager for marine lines at Zurich Global Corporate Middle East.
