Counter-intelligence speaker at Alarys

An ex-US Air Force counter-intelligence expert is to discuss the risk to business from organised crime in Latin America.

Elman Myers, now a managing director at Bermudian-based Hiscox, will be the keynote speaker at the Alarys risk management conference, to be held later this month.

Mr Myers said: “We will take an overview of the security threats in the regions, show how they affect business interests and explore ways to effectively manage the risks.”

Mr Myers manages a business development and client service team for Hiscox that markets special risks, kidnap and ransom, insurance in Latin America.

The event will be held at the Hamilton Princess between Sunday, September 25 and Tuesday, September 27.
