XL Catlin strengthens aviation team

Four appointments have been made in North America by XL Catlin to boost its aviation insurance team

XL Catlin has made four appointments to its North America Aviation Insurance team.

Three of the appointments have been made in Canada, and one in the US.

David Watts, has been named vice-president, Canadian Aviation Manager, Canada. He joined XL Catlin from Boston Marks London where he served as chief executive officer.

Alex Barker has assumed management responsibility of the aviation team in Calgary reporting to Mr Watts.

While Stephanie Hope, has joined as aviation underwriter in Calgary. She joined from Charles Taylor plc where she most recently served as loss adjuster.

Across the border in the US, Timothy Bartos, has been appointed vice-president senior underwriter, New York. He recently served as New York regional aviation manager at AIG.
