David Schick is the new group chief operating officer at Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited.

He replaces Richard Thornton who is leaving the company after almost four years.

Mr Schick was formerly an executive vice-president at Maybank.

Chris O’Kane, group chief executive officer at Aspen, said: “David brings with him a wealth of business and strategic leadership as well as extensive experience of large change and transformation programmes internationally.”

Mr O’Kane also thanked Mr Thompson for his contribution to the business.
