XL Catlin’s insurance operations has announced the appointment of Zoe Xie as client and distribution leader for Asia.
Ms Xie will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for delivering client and broker strategies specifically for the Singapore and Hong Kong businesses, fostering even stronger relationships with brokers and clients within Asia.
Jonathan Mead, head of client and broker management, Asia Pacific, said: “Zoe will be an excellent addition to the team. With her strong client management expertise and vast knowledge in the insurance field across Asia markets, I’m confident that she will build on our relationships with our clients and brokers as we continue to provide bespoke risk solutions for companies in the region.”
Craig Langham, chief executive, Asia Pacific- Insurance said: “Asia is a high-growth yet competitive and diverse market. Whilst clients are facing increasingly complex risks, there have never been more opportunities for us to make a difference to our clients and brokers.
“It’s therefore crucial to have the right expertise to not only help grow our book of business throughout the region but also to serve as a key liaison between our brokers and our diverse product portfolio. Zoe’s appointment reflects XL Catlin’s continued commitment to investing in the best talent to support businesses in Asia.”
