Sompo International Holdings Ltd has appointed Brendan Plessis as executive vice-president, distribution, international insurance.This is a newly created role to develop broker and client relationships, with a focus on growth and potential new business opportunities in London, Europe and Bermuda.Mr Plessis has previously worked for XL Catlin as executive vice-president, global head of emerging markets.
