Special divine worship healing service

All are welcome: Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church’s servic today will feature a sermon entitled “Deliver Us From Evil”

Today

• Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church will hold a special divine worship healing service at 11am. Dr Stanley James will be the speaker, the sermon appeal will lead into an anointing service for the sick. The sermon title is “Deliver Us From Evil”. All are welcome.

TOMORROW

• The Order of Evensong will be held at Saint James’ the Greater Anglican Parish Church in Sandys, beginning at 4pm. The Lord Bishop of Bermuda the Right Reverend Nicholas Dill, will license Geoffrey Butler Durrant as a lay reader in the Diocese of Bermuda during the service. Francis Spring will also be licensed, as the parish Eucharist minister. Church rector the venerable Arnold Hollis, vestry and church family of Saint James’ the Greater Anglican Parish Church extend an invitation to all to attend this very special service.

• The First Church of God, 31 Angle Street, Hamilton is holding a young people’s service with the theme “Child of God Sharing God’s Message” at 11am. The speaker will be Safiya Smith-Dyer.

SUNDAY, JUNE 5

• Allen Temple AME Church invites everyone to help celebrate Eva Richardson Missionary Society’s 91st anniversary at 4pm. Guest preacher is Rev Madeline Hayward of First Church of God, Angle Street.

FRIDAY, JUNE 10

SATURDAY, JUNE 1

• Women Aglow Int invites you to a fellowship worship service at Astwood Hall, Church Street, Hamilton at 9.45am. Andrea Lightbourne-Webster will speak on the theme of courageousness: Be strong and of good courage … for the Lord your God is with you … (Joshua 1: 6-9).

SUNDAY, JUNE 12

• The Rosalie B. Johnson Women’s Missionary Society cordially invites you to our annual day at 4pm at Heard Chapel AME Church, The Glebe Road, Pembroke. Our theme is, “I am Wenona”.

We will creatively present her great missionary work in the form of a skit. In her honour, we are asking you to attend wearing African attire. A love offering will be taken. We are also accepting items such as toiletries, adult diapers, etc for senior care residences. There will be light refreshments after service.
