Classic to be screened on Sky

South Africa celebrate their title

Sports fans can relive last year’s World Rugby Classic this weekend, with matches to be screened on Sky Sports.

Tomorrow, games will be shown at 5.30pm after Montpellier’s game at home to Bordeaux in round one of European Champions Cup on Sky Sports 2.

On Saturday, the classic will be screened after Racing 92’s home match against Munster at 2pm on Sky Sports 1, and on Sunday after Clermont’s game at home to Toulon at 5.45pm on Sky Sports 5.

A pair of second-half tries secured South Africa a sixth title at the World Rugby Classic at the North Field in November

Tonderai Chavhanga and JP Nel struck the decisive blows that separated the two sides to hand South Africa a 14-0 victory over Argentina.

It was the Springboks first title at the Classic since they beat the Pumas 14-7 in another similarly hard-fought win three years ago.
