Dill scores eight tries for perfect Bermuda

Khabir Dill scored eight tries as the Bermuda Under-13 team won their division for the first time at the Freeport Junior Rugby Festival in the Bahamas.

Bermuda won all their games, beating Key Biscayne 25-10, Cayman Islands I 55-5, Cayman Islands II 45-0 and Freeport 30-10.

Dill scored eight tries, Devin Augustus seven, Evan Washington six and Dylan Craft four. Louis Hammond, Charlie Chignell and William Nokes added two each with Ryan Daniels touching down once.

The under-15 side finished runners-up in their section, beating Key Biscayne 25-10 and drawing with the same opponents 25-25 and losing 17-5 to Freeport.

Andre Woolery led the way with three tries, George Peets, Okari Williams and Moses Simmons scored two each and Nadre Ahnakton-Tuzo, Cairi Albouy and Ja’kee Simmons had one apiece.
