The Bermuda Day Half Marathon Derby committee is searching for volunteers to help with the race and its lead up.

There are two ways that volunteers can get involved with helping to manage this year’s race, which include volunteer roles at number pick-up and on race day.

Bag and number pick-up will take place on Monday, May 21 from 3pm to 7pm at the National Sports Centre North Cricket Pavilion, but volunteers are needed throughout the day.

Volunteers are needed from 9am to 1pm in two-hour time slots to organise, prepare and store the goody bags that are distributed to all participants. During bag pick up, volunteers will also be needed to distribute bib numbers, goody bags and T-shirts.

Volunteers are needed, in particular from 2pm to 6pm as well as for clean-up after the pick up has closed on the day.

On race day, Friday, May 25, volunteers are an integral part of making sure the race runs smoothlyis another great race year.
