Willie Clemons continued his rich vein of goalscoring form after netting in Bodens 7-0 win over Sylvia in the Swedish First Division yesterday.

The Bermuda midfielder, who has scored four goals in his last three games, opened the floodgates in the 22nd minute.

Jack Green plundered a hat-trick while Raymond Mendy and Sebastian Shafei-Aman also scored for Bodens, who are fourteenth in the 16-team table.

Nahki Wells was replaced in the 72nd minute in Queens Park Rangers’ 2-0 defeat away to leaders Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship.

Tyler Roberts put Leeds in front before half-time and Jack Harrison doubled their advantage in the 82nd minute. The defeat leaves QPR ninth in the table.

Mark Warburton, the QPR manager, said: “It’s a tough place to come and Leeds are a very talented team. We probably didn’t create enough in the first half.

“In the second half we started well and at 1-0 with 20 minutes to go we had a big, big chance.

“They’re the fine margins at this level. We didn’t quite have that belief to really go and get something out of the game.”

Jonté Smith, the Bermuda forward, made his eighth appearance in all competitions for Cheltenham Town this season in the League Two side’s 2-1 defeat at home to leaders Forest Green.

Smith replaced Gavin Reilly in the 65th minute. First-half goals from Jack Aitchison and Elliott Frear put Rovers in control, before Luke Varney pulled one back after the break. Cheltenham drop to sixth in the table.

Reggie Lambe, the Bermuda midfielder, was substituted in the 62nd minute after picking up a booking in Cambridge’s 2-1 win at home against Crawley Town in League Two.

Paul Lewis’s fortunate late goal earned Cambridge victory as they came from behind.

Four minutes from time, Crawley goalkeeper Glenn Morris’s attempted clearance ricocheted off midfielder Lewis and rolled into the net from a tight angle.

The visiting side went ahead 11 minutes from time through Bez Lubala, but Sam Smith and Lewis scored to earn Cambridge the win and move them into twelfth in the table.

Meanwhile, Nathan Trott’s AFC Wimbledon drew 1-1 at home to Lincoln City in League One.

Goalkeeper Trott, on loan from Premier League side West Ham United, made two good early saves before Jack Payne gave Lincoln the lead in the 31st minute.

Wimbledon grabbed a share of the spoils in the second minute of added time through Kwesi Appiah.

Justin Donawa, the Bermuda forward, came on in the 65th minute in Darlington’s goalless draw at home ten-man Hereford in the Vanarama National League North.

Tommy O’Sullivan was dismissed for the visiting side for a second bookable offence. Bermuda midfielder Osagi Bascome was an unused substitute for Darlington, who are twelfth in the table.

Alun Armstrong the Darlington coach, said: “I thought we deserved to win that game, simple as that. I thought we created enough opportunities and defended ever-so well.

“For us, to have a team like Hereford come here and set up the way they did speaks volumes about where these lads are at the minute.”

Also in the National League North, Bermuda midfielder Milan Butterfield delivered a solid performance in Kidderminster Harriers’ 1-1 draw away to leaders York City.

Kidderminster, fifteenth in the table, equalised in the 82nd minute through Ashley Hemmings after Kallum Griffiths gave York the lead in the 37th minute.

In the Estonian top flight, Bermuda midfielder Roger Lee was an unused substitute in Tallinna Kalev’s 2-0 defeat away to Narva Trans, the former club of Bermuda captain Danté Leverock.
