Nahki Wells scored his thirteenth goal of the season in Queens Park Rangers 3-1 defeat away to Brentford in the Sky Bet Championship yesterday.

Wells, who has netted four goals in his last two games, tapped home in the 62nd minute with his team already trailing by three goals.

Said Benrahma, Bryan Mbeumo and Ollie Watkins all found the net for the home side during a dominant first half.

A twelfth defeat of the campaign leaves QPR languishing in fifteenth place in the table, having conceded an incredible 96 goals from 27 league games.

Goalkeeper Nathan Trott’s AFC Wimbledon suffered a 2-1 defeat away to ten-man Portsmouth in League One.

A 62nd-minute goal from Joe Piggott from close range cancelled out Marcus Harness’s opener for Portsmouth in the 20th minute.

Portsmouth regained the lead through a header from substitute John Marquis with 11 minutes remaining.

The visiting side had a man sent off in the 83rd minute when Sean Wagstaff was dismissed for a second bookable offence.

Justin Donawa played the full match in Darlington’s 2-0 defeat at home to Harrogate Town in the second round of the FA Trophy yesterday.

Osagi Bascome was an unused substitute for Darlington. Jack Diamond and Kerry Lloyd scored either side of half-time for the visiting side.
