The Bermuda Volleyball Association has announced the women’s team which will compete in the Eastern Caribbean Championships in Antigua from tomorrow until next Monday.

Bermuda are looking to build on the momentum gathered at the US Open in May and the Bermuda Open in April.

Elisabeth Rae, the head coach, said: “This is a very young team with a tremendous amount of potential.

“The ECVA Championships will be a great experience for them and we are excited to see how they stack up against the other islands in the Eastern Caribbean.”

The team will be lead by captains Sharri Weldon and Jade Weaver.
