Bermuda will send a team of five athletes to the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association Age Group Championships in Trinidad.

Anaya West, Selah Tuzo, Za’Kayza Parsons, Sancho Smith and Nairobi Smith-Mills will represent Bermuda at the event to be held from June 17 and 18. Kerry Maxwell and Terry-Lynn Paynter will travel as the team’s coaches.

Donna Raynor, the Bermuda National Athletics Association, president, said: “The team has been training over the past three weeks and we’re very excited about them.

“We’re very grateful to the coaches Joyann Clarke and Kerry Maxwell putting in the work with these athletes.

“I watched these athletes perform last weekend and was very impressed with their performances.

“They look very promising and will be competitive.”
